One in Five Minds presents Claritycon2015 luncheon speaker Creigh Deeds

One in Five Minds is pleased to present the luncheon speaker for Claritycon2015 – Virginia State Senator Creigh Deeds.

Senator Deeds was the subject of a powerful 60 Minutes profile earlier this year and his story and mental health advocacy, was recently profiles in the Washington Post. He will offer a moving perspective on his family’s experience seeking access to mental health treatment.

Please save the dates, Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19, for Claritycon2015. The luncheon will take place on Thursday. One in Five Minds presented the 2014 luncheon speaker, Kay Warren, co-founder with her husband Rick, of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.

Claritycon2015 is a summit on children’s mental health and hosts nationally-known speakers like Kay Warren and Creigh Deeds. The keynote speakers for the 2015 will be announced soon. In addition, over 20 local and regional mental health subject-matter-experts will lead breakout sessions.

This is Clarity Child Guidance Center’s third annual summit on children’s mental health. It is designed to equip professionals, including educators, therapists, physicians, social workers, mental health care providers, law enforcement and community leaders with important information to use on behalf of children and their families.

The event this year will take place at the new Norris Conference Center and Red Oak Ballroom, opening soon on Loop 410 near Blanco Road.
