Clarity has a simple method for health care professionals to determine when a patient is in crisis and needs an immediate assessment by licensed mental health professionals.
If you think a child is showing symptoms of an acute crisis, please ask the parent or caregiver to call our 24/7 acute crisis line at 210-582-6412. Over the phone, a mental health professional will direct the parent or caregiver to the appropriate services for their child.
If the child is in immediate danger of hurting themselves or someone else, dial 9-1-1 for emergency assistance and ask for a Crisis Intervention Trained (CIT) officer.
