Steven Gonzalez, PhD, BCBA-D, LCDC-I, Clinical Director for the South Texas Behavioral Institute, Lead Faculty Psychology Chair for the University of Phoenix, San Antonio campus and graduate school professor for Kaplan University’s Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program presents “Autism and Aggression: Strategies for Success.” This 5-part video series, recorded during claritycon2014, presents some of the challenges that may be present in working with an individual who has autism, provides fundamentals for the treatment of aggression and discusses how to incorporate alternative behaviors.

The objectives for this 5-part series include how to:

  • Recognize aggression from a behavioral analytic perspective.
  • Understand multiple interventions to successfully defuse aggression.
  • Incorporate replacement behavior for aggression.
