Supporting Families Impacted by PTSD

Jill E. Palmer, LCSW, is Clinic Director at the Steven A. Cohen Military Clinic at Endeavors, San Antonio. In this video presentation she discusses support for families impacted by post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The objectives for this 5-part video series include:

Develop an understanding of how a family member diagnosed with PTSD affects the family.
The overall understanding of PTSD and how the symptoms can impact children who are cared for by someone with PTSD.
Trauma and the effects on children in their daily lives.
How loved ones, teachers, clinicians or others can support these families and children.
