In our latest video series, Modern Conversations Around Death and Dying, Martha Atkins, PhD, LPC-S, chief executive officer of Atkinsosity, LLC, and founder of the Children’s Bereavement Center, addresses working with adults and children when someone they love is dying.

The objectives for this 6-part series include:

Gain an understanding of historic vs. current perspectives on death and dying
Conceptualize therapists’ worldview in relation to death and dying, and its impact on the therapeutic relationship
Better understand the impact of death and the grieving process on spirituality and personal growth
