Suzette Sova, MA, LPC, NCC, is passionate about helping people and assisting them to be the best they can be, using a more holistic approach. Trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese, she works with victims and families of domestic violence, trauma survivors and individuals struggling with depression, PTSD, anxiety, Bipolar I and II, schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, eating disorders and substance use disorders. Suzette has also worked with children and teens utilizing play therapy and animal-assisted therapy. She taught for many years as a Mental Health First Aid national trainer and an international instructor for Safe TALK suicide prevention, and an instructor for ASK about Suicide. Suzette managed several successful mental health programs at one of the largest mental health organizations in the nation. She believes in offering suggestions to assist and a client’s growth; meeting people where they are at; listening nonjudgmentally; and working with the person to provide case management when needed.
