Child Traumatic Stress and it’s Lingering Effects

Samantha Coleman, MS, has worked in the field of child welfare for 15 years in various capacities. She began her work in the Coast Bend area of Texas working with after-school programs then moved on to work with child bereavement, sexual assault/domestic violence shelters, foster care, school districts, and universities in central Texas.  She has worked professionally with ages 3 months through adulthood and every age in between.  She holds a Master’s of Science in Family & Child Studies from Texas State University. Due to the gravity of her work, Sam likes to spend her weekends outside and beekeeping.
