Larry Hampton is the founder and CEO of Satori Learning Designs, Inc. and the developer of the Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) risk management of aggressive behavior training system.
While working at the Texas Department of MHMR, he developed the Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) program that was required training at all State hospitals, state schools and centers for human development.
While with the state, he was granted clinical privilege through the Social Work Department to practice individual and group counseling with Rational Emotive Therapy, Reality Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Behavior Therapy. He also has earned black belts in judo and aikido.
He has served as an expert witness in federal and state court cases related to worker compensation claims and injury, and death to clients related to aggressive behavior interventions.
