Deborah K. Hendren, PsyD, LP – Prior to joining the Our Lady of the Lake faculty in 2019, Hendren served as the Director of the University Counseling Center at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College (2001 -2007). In 2007, she transitioned to the faculty at UTB/TSC, and taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level from 2007 – 2019. During her time at Texas Southmost College, Deborah served as the inaugural department chair of the behavioral sciences department and as the interim dean of the division of humanities. At OLLU, Deborah teaches in the PSYD program and provides live supervision at the Community Counseling Services training clinic. Deborah is a licensed psychologist in Texas and her research interests include hope and expectancy.
