Reed is Chief Financial Officer for University Health System. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and a Masters in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Reed is Finance Committee Chair for the Clarity Child Guidance Center Governing Board. He also holds positions on the Community First Board and the UHS Pension Board.
He is married with four children and enjoys time with family, hunting, fishing and sports.
