Hilaree is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience across forensic and acute psychiatric settings.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she trained and practiced within the Texas State Hospital System including Kerrville State Hospital, San Antonio State Hospital, and Rio Grande State Center as a Board-Certified Psychiatric Registered Nurse within various leadership roles, where she worked with complex forensic populations and individuals with intellectual disabilities. Additionally, she has worked in various contract positions throughout Texas in different private psychiatric inpatient and outpatient facilities.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cebu Doctors University in Cebu City, Philippines and her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health, from Walden University. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She maintains active membership in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Credentialing Center, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
