Henry “Hank” Bullock is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Clarity Child Guidance Center. He serves primarily on the inpatient units and partial hospitalization program on Clarity’s main campus.
Prior to joining the team at Clarity, Hank was a Registered Nurse for 9 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama College of Nursing. Upon completion of his BSN, he served as an Army Nurse Corps officer at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany and with the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Tallil, Iraq.
Hank earned his Master of Science in Nursing degree from UT Health San Antonio™. He is currently a member of the American Nurses Association and the Texas Nurses Association. He plans to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UT Health San Antonio™.

Dr. James Cazares received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg. Dr. Wayne Ehrisman began working at the Clarity CGC over 33 years ago. He directs Psychological Assessment Services, provides supervision, training, and consultation to clinical staff and trainees, and supervises the psychology residency rotation. Dr. Ehrisman is affiliated with several organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, the American Board of Professional Psychology, San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, Texas Psychological Association, Bexar County Psychological Association, and the National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology. His academic affiliations include Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry at UT Health San Antonio™, and Adjunct Faculty at the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Ehrisman’s clinical interests include psychoanalytic/psychodynamic approaches to diagnostic assessment and psychotherapy with children, adults, and families.

Margaret Farrell, MD is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with Clarity Child Guidance Center. Dr. Farrell brings to the field of child psychiatry a diverse background, having developed a career as an artist after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Chicago and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of New Mexico before choosing to become a physician.
Dr. Farrell earned the Degree of Doctor of Medicine from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She completed a Psychiatry Internship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City before moving to San Antonio to complete both the Psychiatry Residency and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio™ now called UT Health San Antonio™.
Dr. Farrell is no stranger to Clarity Child Guidance Center. She provided patient care at the Child Guidance Center for many years as part of her appointment as an Associate Professor with the Department of Psychiatry, UT Health San Antonio™. Dr. Farrell retired from UT Health San Antonio™ several years ago and she is pleased to return to the practice of child and adolescent psychiatry with Clarity Child Guidance Center.

Dr. Geoff Gentry is Clarity’s Senior Vice President of Clinical Services and Joint Commission Accreditation Survey Coordinator. He also oversees Clarity’s clinical training program and provides clinical supervision/consultation and individual and family therapy. Dr. Gentry is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry Department at UT Health San Antonio™, formerly known as UT Health Science Center San Antonio, where he teaches and provides supervision for psychiatry and psychology residents and Fellows. He has provided training at Clarity CGC and in the community in several areas of child and adolescent mental health, including Trauma-informed Care, Collaborative Problem Solving, and the Child/Adolescent Symptom Intensity Instrument (AACAP Certified Trainer). Dr. Gentry is a member of the American Psychological Association, APA Practice Organization, Bexar County Psychological Association, Community Advisory Board of the Nurse-Family Partnership of San Antonio, and the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. Dr. William Guy is currently a licensed psychologist providing outpatient treatment to children and families. His clinical interests include parent-child interactions, psychodynamic psychotherapy, family therapy, neurocognitive assessment, interpersonal therapy, and behavioral approaches to treatment with adults, adolescents, and children. Past clinical research interests with child populations include children with histories of early social deprivation and children diagnosed with Sturge-Weber Syndrome. Dr. Guy received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. He completed his internship at UT Health San Antonio™, formerly known as UT Health Science Center San Antonio and post-doctoral fellowship at Clarity Child Guidance Center before transitioning into a staff psychologist.

Prior to entering nursing, Michael was a 6th grade English- Language Arts teacher in Dallas, Texas, earning Teacher of the Year at his middle school campus in 2015-2016.
Michael holds his certification as a PMHNP with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse with the Texas Board of Nursing. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

Dr. Cynthia Díaz de León is a psychologist with more than thirty years of experience providing clinical services in English and Spanish. Her patients range in age from three to eighty-five. Her areas of specialty include working with children, adolescents, and families. She provides individual and family psychotherapy, as well as psychological evaluation. Additionally, Dr. Díaz de León has expertise in the areas of trauma, adoption, cultural diversity, gender issues, and parenting.

Dr. Anne Machinena obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She attended medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico where she immersed herself in the beautiful culture and language.
During those years, she was able to travel and studied various medical specialties while affiliated with Tulane Medical School and Maimonides Medical Center . She followed up with an internship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Machinena completed her residency at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, OH and became Board Certified in Family Medicine. She worked there briefly before moving back to San Antonio. She is a member of the American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.
She has worked for over a decade in San Antonio providing primary care needs to those most vulnerable. Dr. Machinena takes an interest in educating adolescents about the different ways they can take control of their health at a young age.
She enjoys all genres of music and traveling with her husband and three daughters.

Dr. Matthews is a Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the UT Health San Antonio™ School of Medicine and became Interim Chief of the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in May 2018. He is a San Antonio native, went to medical school at UT Health San Antonio™ graduating in 1997. He completed General Psychiatry Residency as well as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Residency at UT Health SA™ in 2002. Dr. Matthews joined the faculty in the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in 2002 and was Medical Director of Outpatient Services at Clarity Child Guidance Center from 2007 till 2012. From 2012 to 2017 he served as the Associate Dean of Student Affairs for the School of Medicine and was the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Associate Training Director. He returned to full-time clinical work and in May 2018 returned to serve again as Medical Director of Outpatient Services at Clarity Child Guidance Center.
