first step program

program description

First Step is a one-time consultation that gives a professional recommendation about service(s) a child or family may need. A psychological testing technician performs an assessment, a psychologist conducts an interview and reviews the results with the family, and then a care coordinator works with families to support access to care.

The goal is to identify areas of concern, connect patients to an appropriate level of care, and improve the family’s mental health literacy.
