What Does It Take

…to help a child submerged in emotional problems? Beyond the family’s best efforts, it often takes medical expertise to understand what the child is going through. A child suffering from depression, anxiety, mood disorder, or ADHD cannot function normally at home or at school. A teenager who is constantly oppositional, explosive or reclusive is often struggling with problems beyond his or her control.

So how do you know if a child needs professional help? There are a number of warning signs that should alert any parent. They indicate that the child and his parents could benefit from talking to a psychologist, psychiatrist or a therapist.

What happens when you use such services? Because our only focus is children and teenagers, we have a unique approach of care based on the respect and understanding of the child and his family.

Children will have a fulfilled and successful life if they can. Our primary goal at Clarity Child Guidance Center is to recognize what is in the way of the child's ability to succeed.
