Prescription Refills

Clarity Child Guidance Center can help patient families with prescription refills. The current patient status of your child will dictate which Clarity department can help. Please follow the following directions carefully:

  1. If your child was recently discharged from Clarity’s Inpatient or Partial Hospital and is not yet enrolled with an Outpatient Physician: call the Care Coordination Department at 210-447-6937.
  2. If your child is currently being seen by:
    1. A physician in our Outpatient UT Health Clinic: please call the Outpatient Refill Line at 210-593-2171. Note: you will be prompted to leave a detailed voicemail message including: the patient’s name, date of birth, prescription need and a good phone number to call you back. Requests are processed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3pm, and messages need to be received by noon that day to be processed on the same day.
    2. A physician at Southwest Psychiatric Physicians (SPP): call the refill line at (210) 582- 6407. Note: you will be prompted to leave a detailed voicemail message including: the patient’s name, date of birth, prescription need and a good phone number to call you back. Please allow 2 to 4 business days for pick-up on our campus. Please listen to option for shorter turn-around or for pick-up at your pharmacy.
    3. A physician outside Clarity Child Guidance Center: please call their office for assistance.
    4. If you are not sure where your child’s physician is at (UT Health or SPP), please call the Care Coordination Department at 210-447-6937, and someone will assist you.
  3. If your child is currently admitted in Clarity’s Inpatient or Partial Hospital Program and you have treatment related questions, please call 210-616-0300 and ask for the child’s Therapist or Care Coordinator.
