Rosa A. Aguilar-Delgado, LMSW

Rosa Aguilar-Delgado is a licensed master social worker with over 10 years experience in the mental health field. Ms. Aguilar-Delgado provides individual, family and group psychotherapy for children and adolescents in the Acute Care, Residential and Partial Hospital programs. Her work also includes conducting psychosocial assessments and writing treatment plans. Ms. Aguilar-Delgado’s clinical interests include group therapy, family interventions, individual psychotherapy with children and adolescents, reality therapy and crisis intervention. Ms. Aguilar-Delgado is bilingual thus allowing her to provide services to our Spanish-speaking populations.
Tara Branchizio, M.Ed., LPC

Tara Branchizio is a licensed professional counselor and has been counseling for thirteen years. She provides individual and family counseling for children and adolescents. Her clinical interests include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, family and school issues, grief issues, and self-esteem. She is also a member of the Texas Counseling Association.

Delana Davis provides individual, group and family therapy in the Center's inpatient program. Her work also includes conducting psychosocial assessments and writing treatment plans. Ms. Davis' clinical interests include group therapy, family interventions, self-esteem training, and therapy with high-risk adolescents from inner city areas.
Maria del Carmen Mejia, LCSW

Maria Mejia leads the English and Spanish Clarity Child Guidance Center Parenting Classes on campus, and is available to present to community agencies and school districts. Originally from Mexico, she completed a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Kansas. She has experience with different issues to include: physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, emotional and social problems. Her clinical interests include parent education, communication and family systems, and the resiliency theory. Ms. Mejia believes in a holistic approach to wellness and health.
Melissa Dilworth, LPC-AT/S, ATR-BC, RPT/S

Melissa Dilworth received her Masters in Art Therapy from The College of New Rochelle. Her credentials include ATR-BC (Board Certified Registered Art Therapist), LPC-AT/S (Licensed Professional Counselor-Art Therapy licensure and Approved Supervisor) and RPT/s (Registered Play Therapist and Approved Play Therapy Supervisor). Melissa is one of only four Licensed Art Therapists in the city of San Antonio. Melissa is also certified as a Trauma and Loss Consultant and School Specialist. She has been counseling children and families for over 15 years. Melissa is a board member of both the South Texas Art Therapy Association and the Texas Sandplay Society.
Rick Edwards, LPC

Rick Edwards directs the Acute, Residential and Partial Hospital Programs. He has worked at the Center since 1976. He has provided individual and family therapy to countless children and adolescents. His experience includes supervision of counselors and interns, as well as training psychiatric residents. Mr. Edwards' clinical interests include perpetrators of abuse, self-injurious behaviors, family dynamics, and anxiety disorders. He is also a member of the Texas Counseling Association.
Wayne J. Ehrisman, PhD, ABPP
Chief Psychologist, Director of Psychological Services
Dr. Wayne Ehrisman began working at the Center over 33 years ago. He directs the Psychological Assessment Services, provides supervision, training and consultation to clinical staff and trainees and supervises the psychology residency rotation. Dr. Ehrisman is affiliated with several organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, the American Board of Professional Psychology, San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, Texas Psychological Association, Bexar County Psychological Association, and the National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology. His academic affiliations include Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and Adjunct Faculty at the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Ehrisman's clinical interests include psychoanalytic/psychodynamic approaches to diagnostic assessment and psychotherapy with children, adults and families.
Joshua Essery, PsyD

Dr. Joshua Essery provides outpatient psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and consultations on an inpatient and outpatient basis. His clinical interests include psychodynamic psychotherapy, personality assessment, interpersonal process oriented group therapy, existential psychology and the integration of psychological and spiritual perspectives. Dr. Essery is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Christian Association for Psychological Studies and the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.

Steven Fields is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has provided individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and their families since 1988. He is recognized as a Board-Approved Supervisor and has experience providing clinical supervision to social work students and clinicians. Mr. Fields’ clinical interests include Cognitive –Behavioral Therapy with children and adolescents suffering with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and anger problems.
Marisol Garcia, LPC

Marisol
Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Ms. Garcia provides bilingual
individual, group, and family counseling for children and adolescents at the
outpatient clinic. She has experience working in the areas of adoption/foster
care, at-risk youth, domestic violence, grief/loss, and severe mental health
disorders. Her clinical interests include depressive disorders, anxiety
disorders, grief/loss, trauma recovery, family and group therapy. Ms. Garcia's
counseling techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based
interventions, parent education, and play therapy.
Geoff Gentry, PhD
Psychologist, Vice President of Clinical Services
Dr. Geoff Gentry is responsible for the clinical administration of Clarity Child Guidance Center's clinical programs as well as the admissions and case management departments. He is also the chair of the Clarity Child Guidance Center Training Committee and provides clinical supervision for our therapists. Dr. Gentry is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry Department at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he teaches and provides supervision for psychiatry and psychology residents. Dr. Gentry has given numerous presentations on child and adolescent mental health issues. He is a member of the Bexar County Psychological Association, the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. His clinical interests include psychodynamic psychotherapy, integration of individual and family assessment and therapy, staff development, and clinical consultation.
Carrie George, PhD
Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology
Dr. Carrie George provides outpatient therapy, psychological evaluations and early childhood assessments. Her clinical interests include developmental disabilities, anxiety and mood disorders. Dr. George specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems therapy. Previously, she directed an on-campus autism clinic at Texas State University. Dr. George is also a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and the American Psychological Association.
Jeffrey Grimes, PhD

Dr. Jeffrey Grimes provides outpatient psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and inpatient consultations. He is actively involved in the training of psychology residents and the inpatient staff at Clarity Child Guidance Center. His clinical interests include clinical case formulation, projective assessment, and psychoanalytically-informed psychotherapy. Dr. Grimes is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry Department at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
Lauren Groves, MA, LPC, LCDC
Director of Substance Abuse Services
Lauren Groves is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and is listed on the National Registry of Certified Group Psychotherapists. Previously, she was a certified school counselor with five teaching specialties including Special Education. Mrs. Groves provides psychoeducational services by leading inpatient teen groups on substance abuse and prevention. She is an outpatient therapist who treats people with dual diagnosis involving substance abuse issues. Mrs. Groves also helps individuals who have been impacted by family alcohol or substance abuse. Mrs. Groves is a member of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), the San Antonio Psychotherapy Society, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, and the Medical Center Rotary Club. Currently, Mrs. Groves serves as secretary for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) San Antonio.
Katrina L. Hallmark, PsyD

Dr.
Katrina Hallmark specializes in child neuropsychological assessments, evaluating developmental and neurocognitive skills and abilities, and providing educational and behavioral management recommendations. Dr. Hallmark’s extensive training and years of experience expands the Center's psychological assessment and treatment capabilities in the area of early childhood disorders, developmental disorders, and learning disabilities. Dr. Hallmark earned her Doctor of Psychology degree from the Miami Institute of Psychology in Miami, Florida and received her Master of Education degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Hallmark is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American College of Forensic Examiners, and the Bexar County Psychological Association.
Dino Hernandez, LPC

Dino Hernandez graduated from St. Mary’s University, with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been in practice for over 12 years. Dino is also bilingual thus allowing him to provide services to our Spanish speaking populations. He has a great deal of experience dealing with a myriad of mental health issues, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Oppositional Defiance, and Mood disorders.
Jan Marie Hernandez, LCSW

Jan Marie Hernandez provides individual, family and group psychotherapy for children and adolescents in the Acute Care and Partial Hospital programs. Ms. Hernandez has 15 years experience in mental health and is trained in CPR, Basic First Aid and non-violent crisis prevention (CPI). She is a member of the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, Texas Association for Play Therapy, Alamo Area Mediators Association, San Antonio Group Psychotherapy Society, American Group Psychotherapy Association and the National Association of Social Workers. Her clinical interests include family dynamics, mediation, psychodynamic therapy, psychotherapy groups, solution-focused brief therapy and therapeutic game play.
Karl Koch, PhD
Psychologist, Clinical Director - Outpatient Campus
Dr. Karl Koch is responsible for direction of the clinical programs at the outpatient campus. He also provides clinical and administrative supervision for the therapists at that location. He has been with the Center since 1998. He is a native of San Antonio who earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. His clinical interests include working with children and adolescents experiencing depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, school and family issues, and developmental disabilities.
Ramona Leonards, LPC

Ramona Leonards has over 27 years experience in mental health counseling and consultation services. She came to the center as a liaison between Clarity Child Guidance Center and the Northside ISD, providing consultation and counseling services to students in regular education who did not have access to mental health services. She has worked with various school districts throughout her career and has a wide knowledge of community resources. Her clinical interests include depressive disorders, trauma recovery, anxiety disorders, sexual abuse recovery and developmental disorders, such as Asperger's disorder.

Marina Martinez is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Ms. Martinez provides individual, family and group psychotherapy for children and adolescents in the Acute Care, Residential and Partial Hospital programs. Her clinical interests include family dynamics, individual psychotherapy with children and adolescents, psychotherapy groups, reality therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Kelli Mathias, LPC

Kelli Mathias is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing outpatient individual, family and group counseling. She uses an array of therapeutic techniques, such as play therapy, parent education, and cognitive behavioral therapy in treating children and their families. As often as possible, Kelli will work in a team-approach with parents, teachers, doctors to help children overcome life's challenges. She works with children who experience depression, anxiety, attention problems, defiance, anger, and abuse.

Poul Poulsen provides individual and family therapy for children and adolescents at the Center. With over 11 years of experience, his clinical interests and previous work experience include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, anger management, group therapy, behavior problems and family issues.

Eva Schiotis provides bilingual individual and family counseling to children and their families in our Acute Care, Residential and Partial Programs. With over 20 years of counseling experience, Ms. Schiotis' clinical interests include child sexual abuse, depressive disorders, play therapy, and rational emotive therapy.

Diana Treviño provides individual, group, and family counseling for children and adolescents at the Center. Ms. Treviño has over 12 years experience in counseling. Her clinical interests include trauma, depressive and personality disorders.
Nanette White, LPC
Psychotherapist, Outpatient Services
Nanette White is a licensed professional counselor supervisor. Ms. White provides psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and group therapy for children and adolescents ages 3-17. Ms. White has 12 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Ms. White's experience includes inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, residential treatment, chemical dependency treatment, foster care and adoption treatment, and supervision of LPC interns. Her clinical interests include play therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy and behavior disorders. Ms. White also enjoys working with individuals with mild autism spectrum disorders.
Catherine Widder, LCSW

Catherine Widder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the
States of Texas and Illinois. Mrs.
Widder has been working with children, adolescents and families since 1996. Her experience includes foster care, juvenile
probation, supervision of MSW interns and 12 years as a School Social
Worker. She is highly knowledgeable and
skilled in addressing the social-emotional needs of at-risk youth and families,
as well as families in crisis. She uses a
variety of therapeutic techniques, including play therapy, brief
solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral therapy, strength-based crisis
intervention and parent education. Her
clinical interests include anger/aggression, behavior disorders, anxiety, depression,
self-esteem and family therapy. Mrs.
Widder is dedicated to helping individuals and families to reach their goals
toward optimal well-being.
