Inpatient/Outpatient Programs

Treatment that’s individual and personal

Clarity Child Guidance Center offers a full range of services including:

Inpatient Acute Care

  • If a child or teenager is in crisis, and at risk to harm themselves or others, inpatient acute care is designed to help quickly stabilize the situation. It involves immediate evaluation and admission, 24-hour nurse and physician attention, medication if indicated, and a plan for future treatment. We provide a checklist for professionals to determine if a patient is in crisis and should be seen immediately.

Residential Treatment

  • When a child or teenager has trouble functioning well outside of a structured and monitored environment but is not a danger to themselves or others, residential Treatment may be the answer. It involves 24-hour care and a full schedule of individual and family group therapies and therapeutic activities in a secure, hospital-based setting.

Day Treatment / Partial Hospital

  • Children who experience significant problems at home and school but do not need inpatient treatment, may be able to receive treatment at Clarity Child Guidance Center during the day while still living at home. The program includes therapy, recreational therapy and life coaching plus regular attendance at our on-campus school so your child can keep up with their classes. To access this service, please call our admissions team.

Outpatient Services

  • Clarity Child Guidance Center offers a full range of outpatient therapy services including child, adolescent and family therapy, medication management, psychological testing, psychiatric evaluations, neuropsychological testing, and substance abuse evaluations. Services are provided by psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists. For added convenience for your patient, these services are offered at various locations throughout the city.
